PURPOSE & PHILOSOPHY

Why MÙMA Exists

MÙMA was founded by Saskia Wotton, named for her grandmother, the original reference for style, femininity and enduring beauty. From that inheritance came a simple belief: that the most considered dressing begins with knowing where something comes from, and why it was made.

Each collection draws from a specific place in the natural world. A region, a season, a moment of rare flora or endemic fauna, abstracted into colour, scale and print, then translated into garments designed to be worn and returned to, year after year.

How we make it

To be inspired by the world is to take responsibility for it.

MÙMA is made from certified natural materials, our Japanese Cupro carries OK Marine Biodegradable certification, and our silk is 100% GOTS Organic, sourced with animal welfare, non-GMO practices and a reduced carbon footprint in mind. These aren't additions to the brand. They are the foundation it was built on.

Every collection is released in limited runs. Every piece is designed with longevity, to pair back across seasons, to reduce what we leave behind, and to give each garment a life beyond the one it arrived in.

the evergreens

Some things don't change with the season.

The Evergreens is MÙMA's core and continuing range, present in every collection, in Green, Creme and Tan. Designed for versatility and longevity, these pieces are the constant thread through every collection, intended to be built on, paired back, and returned to.

what we believe

Fashion and the natural world are not separate things. Every collection MÙMA creates is shaped by that conviction - in the materials chosen, the places that inspire them, and the care taken from source to stitch.

Wear it boldly. Wear it often. That's the point.
