PRODUCT & PACKAGING

Made with Intention. Finished with Care

Every material MÙMA works with is chosen for a reason, certified natural fibres, responsible processes, and finishings that reflect the same standard of care as the garments themselves. Quality and transparency are not competing values here. They are the same thing.

how we make

MÙMA garments are printed digitally using placement printing, a method that minimises waste fabric, off-cuts, ink and water consumption from the start. Every piece is picked and packed by hand, shipped in compostable bags, and arrives in recyclable boxes manufactured in Australia to FSC Certified standard.

Swing tags are recyclable, held with organic rope. Hygiene stickers are plant-derived. Where unused fabric remains from production, it becomes lining, a one-off tailored piece, or an accessory, ensuring little to no waste leaves our studio.

our fabrics

Cupro - MÙMA uses OK Marine Biodegradable certified Cupro, made in Japan. A regenerated cellulose fibre produced from cotton waste, Cupro carries all the qualities of silk — smooth, fluid, beautifully draping — without animal by-product. It is entirely plant-based, and has been central to MÙMA's collections since the beginning.

Organic Silk - MÙMA's silk is 100% GOTS Certified Organic Mulberry Silk — CO2 neutral, cruelty free, and produced without pesticides, chemical substances, or heavy metals. Silkworms are fed biodynamically grown Mulberry leaves and allowed to fully complete their lifecycle. Low water and energy usage throughout production, with remaining material repurposed and resold.
